ring in yellow gold and 3D design
This week we’re very busy as we have many special orders, all of them very urgent and spectacular (we have something interesting up our sleeves .. hehe) One of the jobs we have now on the workbench is to make another ring-shaped K!
Do you you remember this magnificent ring we made a couple of years ago? Now the client wants to give one like it!
Each job has a story, and this jewel came from a man who had a ring made of silver. Silver is a very limp material and he wear it a lot, so he decided to make one with gold and diamonds to achieve a more quality jewel. Look how the model ring was!
3D rendering was the best option because of the great amount of detail that had this ring. We designed the ring in two pieces that fit, then to make polishing and nuanced surfaces properly. This is how it looked on screen:
Once we created the wax prototype, we casted it in gold.(casted gold takes a texture and colour just as plastic!) Done, so we finished surfaces and set the diamonds. Finally we polished and nuanced and … Once the ring was completed, this was the aspect, completely custom made.
And the inside was also designed! The customer was so delighted that he didn’t remember the old silver ring!
Surely this time the lucky one who receives it will be equally delighted! 🙂
